We always welcome the opportunity to support local events, especially when it is all about support in the community.
We want the JobCentre to be the place where customers can come when they want support in finding a job, or to get support with training to help them back into work. We offer businesses support with their recruitment needs, whether that be a self-employed entrepreneur or a large multi-national company.
We can offer interview space, sifting and screening of candidates, and support to manage the whole recruitment process, in our Jobcentres. We have employers in all sectors, visiting the JobCentres daily, to meet and talk to potential candidates to fill their roles. We support claimants to be in the best position to be able to go for those interviews or feel comfortable applying for roles, whether it's an online application, as so many of the Jobs are these days or the alternative way of submitting a CV and cover letter. We also work closely with local employers, to consider applications from claimants that have health conditions or disabilities and are sometimes overlooked but have the potential to be a valuable resource to a business, given the right opportunity. We work hard to support the potentially disadvantaged like Care Leavers, Ex-Offenders, Older Workers, Lone parents and many many more and offer one-to-one support with a dedicated Work Coaches to all our claimants, to help all individuals realise their potential. These community events bring the two together and make it possible for all involved, to ensure local jobs for local people!
