Julie Marson, MP for Hertford and Stortford, has today encouraged women in her constituency to sign up to attend a virtual event arranged by the group Make It Your Business.
Make It Your Business is a nationwide initiative to encourage and support women to start and grow their own businesses. The group runs events all over the country, where women can meet established local female entrepreneurs, learn from their experiences and network with other local aspiring female entrepreneurs, in a relaxed and enabling environment. They believe in the power of collaboration, so have also established an online chat forum where any woman can ask any question about enterprise.
The event, hosted online from 11am on Thursday 24th June, is designed to provide an exciting opportunity for women in Hertford and Stortford who are considering setting up their own businesses to speak with local female entrepreneurs for inspiration, ideas and support to start or grow their business from whatever stage they are at. The event also provides a rare chance for local residents to ask questions and get honest feedback!
Attending the event is free for all and more information can be found at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/make-it-your-business-hertford-and-stortford-tickets-157122685181?aff=ebdsoporgprofile.
Commenting, Julie said:
“This event provides a fantastic opportunity for local women to ask the experts on their business ideas. These sorts of opportunities are few and far between so I am pleased that by working with Make It Your Business, we have been able to bring such an event to my constituency.
“It is really important to nurture good business ideas in order to bring greater opportunity to Hertford and Stortford.
“I would like to thank everyone who has helped to arrange the event, especially Tracy Grazioli who has really gone the extra mile to help local women.
“I really encourage any women with a great idea to sign up and attend the event on 24th June.”
